Position Overview:
The Retail and Sales Sales Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talented individuals for sales positions within the retail industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the sales function and the ability to identify top-performing candidates who possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in a sales environment. The Sales Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers and HR colleagues to ensure a seamless recruitment process that results in the selection of the most qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for various retail sales positions.
2. Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of resumes, applications, and other candidate materials to identify potential candidates.
3. Utilize various recruitment tools, platforms, and resources to identify and engage with potential candidates, including but not limited to job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
4. Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the sales roles.
5. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and requirements for each sales position.
6. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling and coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and presenting job offers to successful candidates.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales recruitment and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in recruitment, specifically within the sales or retail industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of sales roles, responsibilities, and requirements.
4. Strong understanding of various recruitment strategies and techniques.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
6. Solid experience in utilizing recruitment tools and platforms, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media platforms.
7. Ability to independently manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and achieve recruitment targets.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
10. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to identify the best-fit candidates.
